When you Demand the Absolute Most from Your Car...or from Your Body!
How many times have we heard of athletes dying in their twenties or thirties from heart attacks? Too often. The macro science explanation for these occurrences with athletes is that there have been unmet nutritional demands made upon the body. It stands to reason that those who place the most demands on their bodies—processing more fuel through their bodies to meet their higher energy output will have the highest maintenance needs. The filters and spark plugs of racing cars have to be replaced or cleaned more often than ordinary cars. It’s the same with racing human bodies. They will need more minerals and more antioxidants to protect against the byproducts of exercise. They will need more synergistic complexes to meet the energy processing demands than people with lesser physical demands. When these needs are unmet, stresses occur, minerals are depleted and cells are damaged and remain unrepaired.
