Zeolite Powder -
Human Use and Benefits
Unique Zeolite Structure
The reason Zeolites are of interest in health
circles has to do with their crystalline structure
with minute channels running in different
directions which have a negative charge
allowing the absorption and adsorption of
heavy and radioactive metals as well as numerous other toxins. The majority of toxins are
positively charged and since Zeolite pores have a negative charge, they act as a magnetic sieve,
attracting and then trapping them within Zeolites' numerous channels until they eventually are
purged from the body in the stool.
Zeolite in Regard to Radiation Removal
The radioactive element capturing property of Zeolite was why it was
used during the Chernobyl disaster. A huge amount of Zeolite was
thrown into the reactors to decontaminate them, and was used to
decontaminate both people and soil. People were given Zeolite in
cookies and other food to help remove radiation out of their bodies.
This radioactive element capturing property is extensively used
nowadays by the military forces for the same reasons.
Zeolites and Intelligent Ionic Exchange
Our Zeolites contains three exchangeable cations (positively charged
ions). They are Potassium, Calcium and Sodium. As these natural
zeolite cations make contact (with toxic ions in the body, for which
that have a higher affinity) they exchange within the zeolite crystal
structure. In this way, they remove toxic elements in the body and the body receives calcium,
potassium and sodium in their place. This is what can be called an "intelligent" ionic exchange.
Zeolite - as a Food Supplement
Clinoptilolite Zeolite is used in the production of food supplements, liquids, powders, tablets and
capsules. In some other countries (e.g. Cuba) clinoptilolite has been used to produce an anti-
diarrhea medicine which is successfully used to treat dysentery and other gastrointestinal
disorders, including food poisoning.
Zeolite Is Not Assimilated by the Body
Except for the exchangeable cations, Calcium, Potassium and Sodium, other elements within
Natural Zeolites do not get absorbed by the body. Instead, Zeolites pass through the body in
transit only, interacting with the body only in terms of selective ionic exchange when in contact with
the blood, lymph, intestinal chyme and cellular fluids, collecting toxins in exchange for Calcium,
Potassium and Sodium.
Properties of Natural Zeolite
•
Zeolite is a very strong "magnet" for heavy metals and toxins and radioactive substances
facilitating their removal out of the body.
•
Another way to envision Zeolite is to think of it as a sponge for toxins, attracting them into its
numerous channels and removing them out of the body via its eliminatory systems.
•
Zeolite is a stress reducer — by removing toxins (that cause stress) from the body, zeolite
helps lower general stress levels. Stress reduction helps with all these systems:
o
Stress reduction, in general, helps with reproductive function.
o
Stress reduction, in general, helps with the functioning of the Endocrine System.
o
Stress reduction, in general, helps prevent narrowing of the blood vessels and helps
arterial walls to relax.
•
Zeolite improves assimilation of foods — by removing toxic elements in gastrointestinal tract,
helps improve intake of nutrients (vitamins, minerals, amino-acids).
•
By removing toxic elements in gastrointestinal tract, Zeolite promotes regularity of bowel
movements.
•
By removing toxic elements, Zeolite can help reduce normal joint pain and stiffness.
•
By removing toxic elements, Zeolite helps reduce free radical stress from the body.
•
By acting as a sorbet and cleanser for the body cells, helps establish and maintain health on
the cellular level.
How is Zeolite Used
•
Clinoptilolite Zeolite is normally taken in ½ to 1 teaspoon servings, two to six times per day a
day in food or water (see usage).
o
Zeolite only as a detoxifying effect while it is moving through the body, so smaller, more
frequent doses are better.
o
There is no residual effect to be expected, beyond that of having a body that contains
less toxicity.
•
In cases of food poisoning, diarrhea, bacterial infections, larger doses are known to be taken
by some people (1-2 tablespoons). Obviously, a medical treatment should be sought first and
foremost in any such cases.
Toxins check in… but they don’t check out!
